Load flakes, freeze-dried worms, or frozen bloodworms into the hull of the boat and set it on the surface. The food slowly falls through the openings in the bottom as the boat drifts around the tank, which turns a standard feeding into something fish actively chase and interact with. The raised captain's quarters section at the back of the boat gives you a dry spot to pinch and lift it out of the tank when feeding is done — no wet hands, no fishing around in the water. Works in freshwater and saltwater aquariums. The boat may begin to take on water and sink if left in the tank for longer than an hour, so pull it out after feeding and let it dry for at least five hours before the next use. Available in clear, black, and white. The pack options include a single boat or a boat and nano boat together for keepers running multiple tanks.

This feeder is genuinely one of the more entertaining things you can add to a fish tank, especially for kids who feed the tank every day and want something more interesting than dropping food in from a container. Bettas in particular go after the boat aggressively and will follow it around the surface waiting for the next piece of food to fall through. It also slows feeding down naturally, which helps in tanks where fish tend to eat too fast or where you want to spread the food across more of the surface area rather than having it all drop in one spot.

Safe for community fish and smaller fish that cannot flip or swallow the boat. Not recommended for large or aggressive fish that could damage or overturn the feeder. Rinse before first use. Remove from the tank after each feeding and allow to dry fully before storing or reusing. Compatible with flake food, freeze-dried foods, and small frozen food portions thawed before loading.
