Magnetic Rock Cave – Viewing Window Hide
The built-in viewing window presses against the glass so you can watch your betta or shrimp rest inside without opening the tank.
Mounts to the inside of any glass aquarium with a strong magnet — reposition it any time without disturbing your substrate or decor.

The viewing window is what makes this piece different from every other cave hide on the market. Most hides work fine but once a fish or shrimp goes in you have no idea what is happening inside — you just know they disappeared. This one has a clear window built into the back face that presses against the glass when mounted, so you can see directly inside the cave from outside the tank without disturbing anything. Bettas in particular spend a significant amount of time resting in enclosed spaces, and being able to see them clearly without tapping the glass or moving the hide is genuinely useful for monitoring their health and behavior. The rock texture is realistic enough to blend into a natural aquascape without reading as a plastic piece, and the magnet holds it firmly against the glass at whatever height you choose. Plecos and shrimp will also use the interior, and the window makes it easy to check on them during feeding without tearing apart the tank.
Keepers who use magnetic hides tend not to go back to floor-placed caves because the ability to reposition without disturbing the substrate or other decorations is a real quality of life improvement. Mount it low if you want your betta to use it as a primary shelter, or place it mid-tank near a plant cluster where shrimp are already spending time. The rock appearance means it does not look out of place next to driftwood, stone, or planted tank layouts. It also photographs well through the viewing window if you want to capture your betta resting inside — something that is nearly impossible with a standard opaque cave.
Compatible with most standard glass aquariums. Freshwater use only. Rinse before placing. Slide the magnets apart from the side when repositioning rather than pulling straight off the glass. The interior surfaces are smooth with no sharp edges. Safe for bettas, shrimp, plecos, and all freshwater invertebrates. Clean by sliding the hide off the glass and rinsing under water during regular tank maintenance.
