Soft silk leaves and a weighted driftwood base for betta tanks.
Silk Betta Plant – Natural Driftwood Base
Soft silk leaves will not snag or tear betta fins — they sway naturally with water movement and give bettas a spot to rest near the surface.
No trimming, lighting, or fertilizers needed — the weighted base holds it in place on gravel or sand right out of the box.

The driftwood base is weighted so it sits flat on the substrate and stays put without burying it or adding rocks around it. The silk leaves extend upward and sway with the water current in the tank, which gives it the look of a live plant without any of the work that comes with one. The leaf shape and coloring are realistic enough that it reads as natural in a finished tank, especially once a thin layer of biofilm settles on the surface over time. Compact enough for nano tanks and betta bowls but substantial enough to be the main plant feature in a 10 to 20 gallon setup. Shrimp will graze along the leaves and base throughout the day, and bettas will rest on the broader leaves near the surface the way they do with real broadleaf plants in the wild.
Bettas in particular benefit from having surface-level resting spots because they breathe air directly and naturally rest near the top of the water column. A tall silk plant that reaches the upper third of the tank gives a betta somewhere to hover and rest without swimming constantly, which reduces stress noticeably over time. This is one of the first things experienced betta keepers recommend to anyone setting up a new tank. The silk material is also the right choice over plastic for any tank with a betta — plastic plant edges are one of the most common causes of torn fins in home aquariums, and once a betta's fins are damaged they take weeks to heal.
Rinse thoroughly before placing in the tank. No special treatment required. The weighted base works on gravel and sand. Clean by gently rinsing with tank water during regular maintenance — do not use soap or cleaning products. Safe for all freshwater aquariums including shrimp tanks, community tanks, and betta setups. The silk material will not break down or discolor your water over time.
