The built-in air stone sits inside the base and connects to standard air pump tubing — when the pump runs, bubbles travel up through the center and rise from the opening at the top. The effect is constant, gentle, and naturally draws fish toward it. Many fish will swim through the bubble column repeatedly, especially curious species like tetras, danios, and small cichlids. Shrimp and snails will graze along the textured surface throughout the day.
