Hangs from the top of the terrarium using the included zip tie, which keeps the floor completely clear while giving your gecko a full vertical path to climb from bottom to top. The cloud sections rotate as your gecko moves through them, which adds a layer of movement and activity that a fixed perch or static vine does not. At 8.5 inches tall and 1.8 inches wide it fits inside most standard crested gecko enclosures without crowding out plants or other climbing features already in the setup. Also works as a climbing accessory in a hermit crab enclosure where vertical texture and movement give crabs something to interact with during their active hours.
Crested geckos are arboreal and spend the majority of their time moving vertically through their enclosure. A terrarium that gives them multiple paths upward — vines, cork bark, plants, and a piece like this — produces more active and visible behavior than one where the only climbing surface is the enclosure wall. This piece is a good first climbing addition for a new setup or a simple way to add a distinct visual element and more grip surfaces to a build that already has some basic enrichment in it.
Mount using the included zip tie through the top mesh of the terrarium. Adjust the height so the base sits just above the substrate. Safe for crested geckos, gargoyle geckos, tree frogs, and hermit crabs. Rinse before placing in the enclosure. Wipe down with a damp cloth during regular maintenance.
