Each ring attaches to the inside of the glass with a suction cup and can be positioned at any height in the water column. Start by placing food near the opening of the ring and most bettas will swim through it within the first few feeding sessions. Over time you can move the food to the other side of the ring and the betta will learn to pass through on its own in anticipation of being fed — a simple but genuinely impressive behavior that takes most bettas less than a week to pick up. The smooth edges will not snag fins at any point during training or regular swimming. The colors are bright enough to catch the betta's attention without clashing with a planted or decorated tank. Two rings per pack so you can set up a course at different heights and depths once the fish has the basic behavior down.
