Dregea Pod Natural Aquarium Decor Shrimp & Betta

The Dregea pod is a natural resource that can be added to aquariums or terrariums over time they release tannins that enrich the water and also provide a safe area for shrimp, snails, and small fish.

Our pods rang from 2.25"-3.25" in length, and about 1.25-1.5" wide at their widest point.

Shrimp and snails love grazing on them, for both the biofilms they recruit and on the soft interior of the pods themselves as they break down over time.

PREPARATION: We recommend boiling them for 40-45 minutes to thoroughly saturate and sink them. They're really lightweight but surprisingly long-lasting.

NOTE: These are natural product, and display variation in color, size, and texture. Each pod is unique! The photo serves as a reasonable representation of what to expect.
